Megamodelex

Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th October 2008

Bentley Model Railway Group present the 2008 Megamodelex Exhibition at the Christie Miller Sports Centre, Bowerhill Industrial Estate, Melksham, Wiltshire, SN12 6QU, United Kingdom.

Megamodelex is an opportunity to see a selection of large layouts which are infrequently displayed because their size precludes their invitation to a regular exhibition. As always the layouts will be accompanied by a good selection of trade stands.

For those who have not visited this venue before Bowerhill is located just off the south east corner of Melksham at the Devizes end of the southern bypass, A365 'Western Way'. The exhibition will be held on a single level in the large main hall with flat access through reception. There is a lift to the cafeteria area making the venue wheelchair friendly. Meals and refreshments will be available at the venue during the show

Car parking is free, as is the show guide and admission for accompanied children.

Car Parking at the show.
There is a small car park almost opposite the Christie Miller Leisure Centre but this can fill quickly during the mornings. Additional car parking will be provided on the running track located behind the centre. Access to this is a little further along the road past the front entrance to the centre. A footpath runs from the running track to the front of the centre. There will be direction signs for the car park.
In addition there are a few disabled parking bays available immediately in front of the entrance doors to the centre. These will also have signs on display. Blue badge holders will be able to park on the double yellow lines outside the centre.

At the next roundabout take the right-hand exit (signed Bowerhill / Sports Centre) and again the right-hand exit at the subsequent roundabout, at the start of Bowerhill Industrial Estate.
